Our day will begin with a volunteer orientation which includes specific safety information about interacting with the animals at the shelter. The volunteer coordinator will also discuss ways to advocate for the Animal Humane Society, and for animals in general.

Following a volunteer pizza party, we will work to prepare dog treats, help make cat enclosures extra cozy, and fold clean towels the staff use to clean up.
